If meditation is the medicine,

perhaps our apothecary blends are the catalyst. The Rabbit blends are alluring with each inhale but these scents aren't your everyday perfume. Behind every blend there is an intention. On each bottle, we've carefully crafted a mantra, mini meditation + purpose. Inside the glass is a scent steeped in ancient ritual + tradition. The knowledge of medicinal plants passed through oral tradition among the plants + in the family tree is a skill our oil maiden (Jenn) brings to the table so that together she + Mama Rabbit (Jenny) may work together to purposefully curate each blend for manifestation + meditation.

Our apothecary blends are totally of the earth meaning we never use synthetics unless they offer cultural significance.  Each ingredient is naturally sourced from the origin of the plant itself using sustainable practices. Our products are sourced + brewed in small batches in Portland, OR at Third Generation Herbal + bottled with care in Wilmington, NC by White Rabbit Trips.

The olfactory system is the center for memory + even for tuning into our intuition. This is why we've created this line. So that this energy gathered of the earth may be used as a tool for meditation. It takes us back + yet it takes us here. We are the present.

JENN VANDERFLEET

THIRD GENERATION HERBAL

Long ago, those who foraged in the hills — those who knew wrong from right or earthen poisons from pleasantries — were considered healers. Three generations ago, in Donegal, Ireland, Jenn's great grandmother — Mary Harvey Breslin — was known as just this. When the town healer gave birth to her own Mary (Mary Ellen McGroarty otherwise known as Nannie Mac), she naturally took to the bogs too. This knowledge, you see, is a river that runs through the bloodline. Many moons later, Nannie Mac would hear her granddaughter Jenn's calling + she too would teach her kin to gather plants from the wild. Third Generation Herbal is a reflection of this family tradition, adaptation + the evolution of a bloodline.

JENNY YARBOROUGH

WHITE RABBIT TRIPS

It was only a matter of time before Jenn + Jenny's synchronicities would catch-up to them. They lived in a small town after all. Jenn wasn't the only one with a grandmother named Mary who brought her over the river + through the woods. Jenny's grandmother (sometimes called Cottontail) wasn't known for natural remedies brewed by what she found with roots, but she did leave a mark within the town for her progressive acts to preserve Mother Earth + reading through her poetry, you'd find that this Mother was very much her muse. Both Mary's also taught their Jenny's about the flora + about folklore even down to the very same story Rabbit Rabbit. And so while all of the Jenn's + Mary's aren't of the same blood, they are truly sisters with the same bird singing in their souls.
